National standardised tests for Maths and English in 2012 indicated competency for children in Moyross to be relatively poor, but the same tests carried out in 2016 showed significant improvement partly due to after school activities, homework clubs and other projects and initiatives supported by fundraising such as the Church Gate collection in Dalkey. This year the collection will take place after all Masses on 10th & 11th March 2018.
