Parish Day of Reflection on 26th August

Many thanks to all those who came to the Dominican Farm and Ecology Centre in Wicklow for the Parish Day of Reflection. We are also very grateful to Sr. Colette O.P. and all of the Sisters for their warm welcome and for sharing their enthusiasm for the work of the centre in promoting a more sustainable way of working with the land as well as a renewed relationship with the whole community of life, human and non-human.

Zoo Visit on Monday 21st August

Very many thanks to all those who came to Dublin Zoo and/or who made the visit to Dublin Zoo possible. The children and their parents from Mosney Direct Provision Centre had a wonderful, memorable day.

The balance of the funds raised will be used for future events for the Migrants.

We have great news from Leopardstown Race Course where two lads from Moyross are doing extremely well. Pat Keogh writes: “They are two great guys and are very hard workers. They are very popular with all the staff here and would be welcome back any time.”  One of them has been given an opportunity to work for Fitzers at Leopardstown; Fitzers are “delighted” with him so he may well be set up for a career in catering in the future.
