THRIVE! Mission for Teens and Young Adults, Musicians, and Leaders

For their anniversary years, the leadership and parishioners of Assumption Parish, Dalkey and St. Patrick’s, Monkstown will pursue a new vision to revitalize the Parish by seeking new, dynamic ways to intentionally carry out our baptismal call to discipleship.
This week we welcome American musician Curtis Stephan and his teen ministry colleague Erin Horomanski from Texas. Their mission is to encourage all musicians, young adults and people who want to make a difference in our parish and they will do this through a series of talks, music sessions, prayer and adoration. The theme for the week is THRIVE! The events will be held in Dalkey and Monkstown parishes and include the following:
Wed. 16 Nov. 7:30 pm: Musicians/singers reflection, fellowship, and dessert – Introducing heart-felt contemporary music, Curtis will help to awaken a renewed sense of purpose in your music ministry (hosted at Monkstown Parish Hall)
Thurs. 17 Nov. 6 pm: Meet and Greet Happy Hour to connect with others who want to build community and support between parish, schools, and the local community, making our parishes stronger and more vibrant. (The Vico Rm, The Queens, Dalkey)
Thurs. 17 Nov. 8-10 pm: Pub night for 20’s+ — Acoustic session and Q&A for young adults. Cash bar. (Vico Rm, The Queens, Dalkey)
Fri. 18 Nov. 8 pm: Candlelight “Power Hour” adoration to Deepen & Renew with the music of Curtis Stephan (Dalkey Parish)
Sat. 19 Nov. Rehearsal for Mass (details and venue tbc)
Sat. 19 Nov. 6 pm: Curtis and musicians will sing at 6.00 pm Mass in Monkstown
Sun. 20 Nov. 10.00 am Curtis will join the Family Mass Group in Dalkey
Sun. 20 Nov. 7:30 pm Mass with Curtis and musicians in Dalkey
