Bishop Phonsie Cullinan of Waterford has made the suggestion that Church Bells be rung around the country at 11:00am tomorrow, March 17th, to celebrate the Feast of Saint Patrick as “a reminder of the faith that has sustained the people of our island throughout the centuries.”
He adds the bell ringing can be an expression of social solidarity, an encouragement to care for one other and for all of us to be inspired and remain hopeful at this difficult time.
I would encourage you to ring the bells at 11:00am in your Church.
Dóchas linn Naomh Padraig.
